Château de Siran is located in the centre of the Margaux appellation. In 1859, the Miailhe family became the owners of the estate and today its fifth generation is managing the château. Château de Siran is one of the rare Grands Crus from the Médoc to belong to the same family for more than 150 years. Its 25 hectares of vines enjoy a high-quality terroir. The soils are basically made of gravel and pebbles that retain little rainwater. The high proportion of Petit Verdot is one of peculiarities of this domaine. The château produces remarkable wines that age marvellously.
