20 years ago, this family vineyard property of 20 ha in total in Saint-Estèphe and Haut-Médoc, initiated a "return to the sources" by being inspired by the vision for the Saint-Estèphe of Émile Peynaud, founder of modern oenology: "a lively colour, a bright fruit and harmony on the palate". The means and methods of the renowned vintages are used to create a seductive wine: an integral manual harvest - a careful sorting of the grapes - a plot vinification - a haute-couture ageing - particular attention to the blends. Concerned about preserving its environment and sensitive to new consumer expectations, the Château Sérilhan commits from 2013 to the “High Environmental Value level 3” (HEV3) certification, validated in 2018. The effort will continue in 2020, with the establishment of an apiary in the heart of the property, promoting the return of pollination in the town of Saint-Estèphe.
