A direct neighbour of Mouton-Rothschild, Pontet-Canet benefits from a magnificent terroir that has had an immense impact on its renown. The most striking point about the domaine is its meteoric rise as well as its transformation to biodynamic practices that was undertaken with quite some risk in a region where "ecological viticulture" has not yet been entirely accepted. In the space of 10 years, and thanks to its owner, Alfred Tesseron, and manager, Jean-Michel Comme, Pontent-Canet has become one of the most sought-after labels in the Médoc. A success story that will serve as a great example! Since 2020, Justine Tesseron, Alfred's daughter and now head of the domaine, is responsible for maintaining Pontet-Canet in a class of its own.
