One of the oldest properties in the Médoc, Château Paveil de Luze is located in the heart of the Margaux appellation. The estate had been in the family for seven generations before Frédéric de Luze and Stéphane Fort, both cellar masters, took over the vineyard. In the 17th century, it belonged to the Lords of Bretonneau before being purchased in 1862 by Baron Alfred de Luze. Most of the 120 hectares were replanted and the entire property was restored following the Siberian winter of 1956. It is therefore above all a family affair for the current generation, who strive to follow in the footsteps of their ancestors by preserving the expertise and reputation of these wines.
