The origins of Les Ormes de Pez date back to the 18th century. Located on the edge of the hamlet of Pez, north of the commune of Saint-Estèphe, the property owes its name to a magnificent grove of large elm trees that no longer exist. The château and the vineyard, which is divided into two parts, are located in the hamlet of Pez, north of Saint-Estèphe.Acquired in 1940 by Jean-Charles Cazes, its vineyard now covers 37 hectares of Garonne gravel soil. The vineyard management and winemaking techniques combine the best of tradition and modernity to produce harmonious wines with a spicy and voluptuous character, authentic expressions of the terroir of their appellation.
