Château Moulin de Canhaut is a wine estate located in the Médoc appellation in Bordeaux, renowned for its quality wines and environmental commitment (HVE level 3 certification since 2018). Its wines, made from a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon , are distinguished by their deep colour, aromas of red and black fruits, and spicy or woody notes depending on the vintage. The estate, owned by the Poitevin family, focuses on careful vinification: low-temperature maceration, temperature-controlled fermentation and ageing in barrels (30% of which are new) to preserve the freshness and complexity of the wines. The Moulin de Canhaut vintages, often praised for their balance and roundness, pair perfectly with stews, red meats and mature cheeses. Finally, this Cru Bourgeois embodies the classicism and typical characteristics of Médoc wines, combining tradition and respect for the environment.
