Château Malbec is a beautiful estate dating back to 1860, located in the commune of Sainte Eulalie, on the outskirts of Bordeaux. The vines are mainly south-facing, enjoying optimal exposure. The significant diversity of terroirs and grape varieties brings total harmony to this naturally powerful and distinguished wine. With a blend characteristic of Bordeaux wines, the wine reflects the region's expertise. It is the richness and diversity of the terroir that is expressed in the wines of Château Malbec. The wine has a surprising, complex and remarkably rich aromatic profile. Its nose offers intense, fruity notes of black cherry and blackberry. Thanks to the Merlot , which flourishes perfectly on the estate's clay soils, the palate is round and intense. The Cabernet Sauvignon , grown on a gravelly hilltop that allows it to reach full maturity, brings remarkable tannic structure. Cabernet Franc and Malbec complete the blend, bringing freshness and musky aromas respectively, for a racy and complex whole, supported by discreet ageing that accompanies the wine. Château Malbec belongs to the Castel family's estates. The family estates are an expression of the Castel family's expertise, passion for terroirs and commitment to responsible practices.
