This estate naturally takes its place alongside Bernard Magrez's Grands Crus Classés, Château Pape Clément, Château La Tour Carnet, Château Fombrauge and Clos Haut Peyraguey. Located on a unique terroir that had been forgotten for too long, it was Bernard Magrez who brought it back to life, a project that had been in the making for 10 years. In search of a gem, an exceptional terroir that could produce a great wine, he found it on the famous hill of Saint Christoly du Médoc, where the river meets the ocean. He then put all his expertise and passion into it, the same passion that drives each of his four grands crus classés. Today, it has achieved international renown for its quality and price, making it one of the most attractive wines in Bordeaux.
