The Lanessan vineyard has been part of the Bouteiller family since the 18th century. Eight generations of this same family have taken over and managed the estate. One woman, Paz Espejo, took over the management of Château Lanessan in August 2009, succeeding Hubert Bouteiller. This change of management follows the wishes of the Boutellier family to inject some new life into this beautiful estate.
