The Loire Valley is France 's largest wine-producing region. Château Guipière is located in Vallet, the capital of Muscadet, in the Nantes region. It is a place steeped in history since the 15th century. The owner of the estate, unhappy in love, decided to ward off bad luck and destroyed the château in the 19th century. To this day, no trace of it remains. The first historical traces of the vineyards of the Guipière estate appear in 1842. Just after the Second World War, the vineyards were entrusted to the Charpentier family on a sharecropping basis. Since the end of 2015, Château Guipière has been owned by Philippe Nevoux and run by Stéphane Gouraud.
