Château La Chandellière is a Médoc cru bourgeois, situated in Civrac-en-Médoc, on clay-limestone soils renowned for their quality. Founded 25 years ago by two brothers, the estate is now run by the third generation, who continue to practise passionate and environmentally responsible viticulture (HVE-3 and Terra Vitis certifications). Its wines, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon , Merlot and Cabernet Franc , are powerful, balanced and frequently award-winning, such as the 2019 vintage, which won a gold medal in Paris. The style is characterised by aromas of red fruit and spices, with a fine tannic structure, making it ideal for ageing for 10 years or more.
