Château Grand Corbin Manuel was long an integral part of Château Grand Corbin Grand Cru Classé de Saint-Émilion, under the name Grande Métairie. In 1965, Grand Corbin Manuel, then owned by a certain Pierre Manuel, was mentioned for the first time. Forty years later, in 2005, Stéphane de Gaye became the owner of the estate. He wanted to revive the ancestral family tradition of winemaking that had been passed down through several generations.
