Château du Moulin Rouge is situated in an exceptional terroir. Established by its ancestors in the 18th century, it enjoys an exceptional environment. It spans 27 hectares of beautiful, largely sun-drenched gravelly hillsides that benefit from the natural microclimate created by the immediate proximity of the Gironde estuary. Just like the Grands Crus neighbouring the Château du Moulin Rouge estate, particular importance is attached to maintaining traditional methods, a guarantee of quality. The vines are carefully tended and worked in the traditional manner, and the harvest is carried out exclusively by hand. In 2015, the estate adopted the Vins de Bordeaux SME approach and obtained HVE 3 certification.
