The family has owned and operated Château de Varennes since 1809, passing down their expertise for more than 10 generations. The vineyard covers nearly 20 hectares of south-facing vines on the hillsides bordering the château. The terroir is composed of schist, volcanic rock and granite. The vines are cultivated with respect for the environment and biodiversity. The wines are vinified as naturally as possible at the château and seek to express the richness of the terroir and their grape varieties.
