Occupied since ancient times, it is on this site with a rich historical past that the famous Château de Roques now stands, at an altitude of 103 metres, the highest point of the Puisseguin-Saint- Emilion appellation. Four generations have succeeded one another at the head of this estate. After the Second World War, Herman Sublett acquired the estate from the La Rochette family, who had owned it since the post-revolutionary period. Grégoire Sublett has now taken up the torch and is continuing the work of his father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He combines expertise and modernity to ensure the estate continues to flourish thanks to its terroir with its very different soils and superb microclimate.
