It was in 1974 that the Chanzy domaine was founded, historically located at Bouzeron. Its origins go back as far as the 17th century, as the estate's cellars bear witness as does the rare, ancient rope-operated wine press in its small cellar. Today, the Chanzy estate is the biggest producer in the Bouzeron appellation and covers 80 hectares largely spread over the Côte Chalonnaise and Côte de Beaune as well as the Côte de Nuits . In this way, the domaine produces many varied and different appellations from Mercurey in Vosne-Romanée, passing through Rully, Givry, Maranges, Santenay and Puligny- Montrachet . The Chanzy estate also owns five Clos and two Monopoles. Clos de la Fortune, the jewel in estate, is in fact the only monopole in the Bouzeron appellation! Over the years, the domaine has invested in a production approach that respects the environment and has consequently achieved its HVE, High Environmental Value, certification in January 2021. The pursuit of excellence is a matter of pride in the Chanzy domaine and translates into long, precise work on both vines and wines, whose terroir is respected with the aim of producing individual vintages.
