In 1976, Paul-François Vranken decided to settle in Champagne and found his own house in Vertus on the Côte des Blancs. In 1985, the acquisition of the Château des Castaignes gave birth to the greatest Champagne evolution of the 20th century with the release of an exclusive bottle in the shape of a non-vintage Brut : the Cuvée Demoiselle. Thanks to the work carried out jointly by the Vranken and Saint-Gobain teams, the first large-scale series with a cut shape came out of the ovens. It was three years later that this cuvée, developed by Paul-François Vranken and his cellar master Dominique Pichart, was marketed. Acquisition of the Villa Demoiselle in Reims in 2004, which will become the headquarters of Vranken Champagnes.
