Besserat de Bellefon was founded in Aÿ in 1843 by Edmond Besserat. The year 1930 marked a historic turning point for the house, which soon became a legend, by conceiving a Champagne that was all finesse, with a light effervescence to accompany an entire meal. In order to meet the needs of its most discerning and demanding consumers, Besserat de Bellefon has perfected its range with the arrival of a Blanc de Blancs , followed in 2007 by its first Vintage 2000 and then an Extra Brut . Cédric Thiébault, the cellar master of the house, selects magnificent wines from the cellars in order to sculpt a blend that reveals the Besserat style.
