Bodegas Bastida is a family-run winery. In the 1950s, Antonio Bastida began producing wine in a small cellar, true to his entrepreneurial spirit. In 1977, Juan Bastida Juliá, Antonio's son, created a new winery in Hoya del Campo, continuing the family tradition. In 1982, the first improvements were made to the Hoya del Campo winery, which was expanded in 1992, allowing the winery to be technologically upgraded and its production capacity increased. In 1998, a new warehouse was built and the winery's capacity was increased once again. In 2005, the first bottling line was installed in Hoya del Campo. In 2011, Juan Bastida and his sons began to expand into the world of bottled wine, acquiring Bodegas Alceño in Jumilla and then deciding to create the company Familia Bastida, where the family aims to explore the unique characteristics of different geographical areas of Spain . In parallel with these projects, in 2015 they began to launch a line of bottled wine at the Socuellamos winery. The family is currently present in more than 50 countries.
