It was the passion for wine that led Bertrand Bachelet to take over the family estate in 2011, following his father, Jean-Louis. He represents the fourth generation of a line of excellent Burgundy winegrowers. Today, Bertrand operates 13 hectares spread over the Côte de Beaune, from Les Maranges to Pommard. The farm is based in Dezize-les-Maranges, one of the three villages of the Maranges appellation. This appellation represents the largest production in the domain. Bertrand continues the family tradition with passion, with the aim of producing high quality wines, while relying on new techniques from modern viticulture and oenology. The objective is to make the best possible use of each terroir in order to produce a range of rich and diverse wines.
