It was in 1991 that Miguel Blanco decided to leave the cooperative to make his own wines. His two sons then join him and it is the contraction of their first names, Arturo and Kike that is at the origin of the name the new bodega. The vineyard is spread over 31 hectares cultivated by Arturo and Kike according to the principles of biodynamics. Recoveries from endangered vineyards (old plots almost forgotten), traditional vinifications (maceration in whole bunches, punching down...) give unique terroir wines which are distinguished by many classic wines from Rioja by their fruit and their finesse. These wines are produced in ultra limited quantities and we are happy to be able to propose you some of these beautiful bottles.
