Argiano is certainly one of the most beautiful Tuscan houses. The wines have never been so great as evidenced by the notes which fall each year. The grapes come from the most beautiful plots of Montalcino, benefiting from a particularly favorable microclimate at about 300 meters above sea level where one part is composed of an abundant structure of clay, sand and limestone, the other is composed of deep clays. Identifying the terroir of each plot has enabled oenologists to plant each grape variety on the land and climate that best suit it. The result is the creation of several vintages with a strong identity in an inimitable style. Today, all of the top critics unanimously agree that the Argiano estate produces unique, high-quality wines that, above all, have a long ageing potential. The key words to describe their cuvées are elegance, the expression of the terroir, finesse and length on the palate.
