Puligny-Montrachet AOC

Puligny-Montrachet is located in CĂ´te de Beaune sub-region of Burgundy. It is more known for its outstanding white wines from Chardonnay, but a very small amount of red wine is also produced from Pinot Noir. It has four Grands Crus from which Le Montrachet is the most prestigious and which it shares together with the appellation Chassagne-Montrachet. The white wines are very mineral, they have a firm structure, a well-defined character and a remarkable concentration. A charming match with langoustines or halibut.
