To mark the festive season, Moët & Chandon is dressed up in its iconic bow tie… in a limited edition.
First introduced in 1886, Moët & Chandon’s iconic black tie has adorned its bottles for over a century. For the festive season, it has been reimagined as a textured bow: the Moët bow, a fresh interpretation of the House’s visual signature. The design features on the Brut Impérial and Rosé Impérial cuvées, as well as the Brut Impérial Pouch Edition.
Since 1869, Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial has embodied the House’s signature style. Its blend of the three Champagne grape varieties reflects the diversity of the region’s terroirs and the quality of each harvest. The result is a Champagne with a complex aromatic profile.
Crafted from over 200 crus, including 20 to 30% reserve wines, Brut Impérial brings together the three Champagne grape varieties: Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay. Its golden-yellow colour with green highlights gives way to aromas of white-fleshed fruit and citrus, complemented by floral notes and hints of brioche. On the palate, it reveals a smooth, expressive texture, with a full-bodied character balanced by freshness and crispness.
An ideal Champagne for an aperitif, Brut Impérial also pairs beautifully with food. It is particularly well suited to fish and seafood, including sushi, sashimi, oysters and scallops.
Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial offers a vibrant, fruit-forward expression of the House’s signature style. Its blend showcases the diversity of the grape varieties, reflecting the richness of Champagne’s terroirs and the quality of each harvest. The result is a complex cuvée with expressive fruit aromas, a generous palate and a delicate sense of maturity.
Each grape variety brings its own distinctive character to the blend: Pinot Noir contributes intensity, Meunier adds roundness, and Chardonnay lends finesse. Subtle vegetal notes bring further nuance to the palate, while an intense fruitiness unfolds through a lively bouquet of fresh summer berries, complemented by floral notes and a hint of pepper.
An exceptional cuvée deserves an exceptional presentation. This year, the House unveils a pouch for its iconic Champagne, adorned with a striking bow inspired by Moët & Chandon’s signature black tie. Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial comes in a red insulated fabric case designed to keep the bottle at the ideal serving temperature. Practical and reusable, the case features the Moët bow, the signature design of the Bow Edition.
The Brut Impérial Pouch Edition is the perfect companion for the festive season. Crafted from Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay, Brut Impérial reveals aromas of white-fleshed fruit, citrus and white flowers, complemented by notes of brioche and fresh nuts. It pairs beautifully with fish and seafood.
