Pommard AOC

Pommard is an appellation in Burgundy's sub-region Côte de Beaune. Together with Volany it is the only appellation in Côte de Beaune to produce exclusively red wine from Pinot Noir. The wines from Pommard are rich and powerful in style and they tend to age very well. Pommard has a large number of Premier Cru vineyards, but the most renowned ones are Les Epenots and Les Rugiens.
