Picpoul de Pinet AOC

Picpoul de Pinet is a white wine appellation south of Montpellier in the southeastern France. It is known for its light, crispy white wines made of local grape variety called Picpoul. Due to the appellations coastal proximity Picpoul de Pinet enjoys a strong marine influence with its Mediterranean climate. That makes it very suitable for producing white wines. It is a perfect match to many seafood dishes, especially to oysters!
