CHATEAU FLEUR HAUT GAUSSENS "LA VIMINIERE" 2016

0,75 L Red Wine / France / Bordeaux / Bordeaux Supérieur AOC / 13,5 % vol / 100% Malbec

“The Bordeaux Supérieur La Viminière has an amazing density. The tanginess and tight tannins make it a very nice bottle. “ - Bettane et Desseauve Guide 2018.
This domain continues to produce good wines with undeniable regularity and perfectly represents the archetype of the Bordeaux Supérieur. Viminière is a small plot specifically chosen for the quality of its soil particularly well suited to Malbec grapes. This premium wine is the result of a new approach in terms of plot selection and vinification. The result is exquisite! Modern, complex, elegant, with great length, you must taste this wine!

CHATEAU FLEUR HAUT-GAUSSENS

Located in Vérac, a small village north-east of Bordeaux, Château Fleur Haut-Gaussens has been defending the values of know-how for 3 generations. Proud of its vineyard, the Lhuillier family produces under the Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur appellations. Merlot Rouge, Cabernet-Franc and Cabernet-Sauvignon, the vines are managed in sustainable agriculture with individual monitoring for each of the plots. Exceptional soils, where the delicately vinified grape varieties express all the power of the terroir. Between tradition and modernism, this work carried out by a passionate and resourceful team, offers elegant wines based on the power of tannins. Quality, consistency: from vintage to vintage, the cuvées write their own history and attract rewards. A little out of the ordinary, the estate's wines are among the last Bordeaux Supérieurs to be presented as wines for ageing, such as Grands Crus.
