Romain Duvernay is a talented oenologist associated with newRhône Millésimes, recognised by his peers as one of the finest palates in the region. After honing his skills in Bordeaux, Languedoc , Burgundy and a national restaurant distributor, he quickly fell in love with all the resources of the Rhône Valley and moved there in the early 1900s. Knowing all the subtleties of the grape varieties and terroirs, Romain Duvernay gave birth in 2010 to the brand that bears his name, and has been making wines with talent from both the northern and southern appellations of the valley. Aware of the development potential of a region as rich as the Rhône Valley, Jean-Marc Pottiez decided in early 2016 to create the newRhône Millésimes house, by associating himself with Romain and his Signature brand. It is with a degree of exigency each year sharper that this duo intends to continue the development of this house by working with the greatest rigour each of the grape varieties that make up the charm of the Rhône Valley.
