Charles Mortet created his estate in 1956 with a single hectare of vines. In 1978, Denis joined his father with Laurence, his wife. In 1993, he took over from his father and created Domaine Denis Mortet. Established at the time of 4.5 hectares in the municipalities of Gevrey-Chambertin, Chambolle-Musigny and Vougeot, the estate is growing steadily. Currently, the estate has 11.2 hectares. In 2000, Arnaud joined his father. Since 2005, he has managed the estate with his mother Laurence. Among the Mortets, a clear sign, men have always preferred the vineyard path to school path.
