It was in Sainte-Cécile, in 1920, that the estate was created by Albert Farjon. Agricultural worker, but above all passionate about vines and wine, he created, thanks to his work and his will, a wine estate which has today acquired its letters of nobility. André and Robert (his two sons) took over the reins thus perpetuating the family tradition and ensuring the longevity of the estate. The vines of the Les Grands Bois estate extend over 46 hectares spread over 7 municipalities: Sainte-Cécile-les-Vignes, Lagarde-Paréol, Suze la Rousse, Tulette, Cairanne, Rasteau, and Travaillan. The vines are planted on plots located mostly on plateaus 130 meters above sea level.
