On the Domaine des Mariniers, as on all Joseph Mellot estates, the vines are cultivated using sustainable agriculture. In 2017, the estate obtained level 2 Environmental Certification. The vineyard offers a fairly wide range of terroirs: limestone pebble terraces, flint clay terroirs and Kimmeridgian marls. The rigorous selection of juices and the vinification by terroir make it possible to obtain a wine that has both the fruity character and the mineral notes, specific to Pouilly-Fumé from flint soils.
