The Château des Bois is located in the town of Sologny, in southern Burgundy , at the junction of Mâconnais and Clunisois. Built in the 19th century, it sits enthroned in lush greenery, in the heart of a region rich in medieval history, a few kilometers in particular from the prestigious abbey of Cluny or a few hundred meters from the fortress of Berzé le Châtel. It was in 2012, when the winegrower retired, that the owners of Château des Bois were looking for a young person to continue cultivating and vinifying at the Château. Xavier Greuzard, new winemaker at the family estate of Château de la Greffière, then offered to bring his know-how to the estate. He will bring a new state of mind to add the benefit of modernity to the age-old practices of the estate.
