François Brossolette had been working in the vineyards for over 20 years when he married Sylvie François, the daughter of a winegrower. In 1991, they christened the estate by combining their two names, thus creating the François Brossolette Champagne House. For six generations, the vines of this family estate have been cultivated on the slopes of the Laignese valley, from Riceys to Polisy, forming a vineyard of about 14 hectares.
As a small Champagne producer, François is not only in charge of growing the vines. He also produces his own cuvées from his own grapes in his own cellar. The François Brossolette Champagne House combines the tradition inherited from several generations of winemakers with state-of-the-art equipment. François Brossolette vinifies and gives free rein to his passion for blending to produce unique Champagnes each year that are a perfect expression of the terroir.
Thanks to the excellence of the work carried out, the François-Brossolette Champagne House produces exceptional and authentic cuvées. From the very beginning, the owners of this family business have been passionate about winemaking and have meticulously blended the wines to produce balanced and tasty Champagnes. Each year, the exceptional cuvées of this estate are noticed by the specialised press (Le Guide Hachette des Vins, La Revue du Vin de France, etc.) and rewarded by the most prestigious juries (Concours des grands vins de France de Mâcon, Concours d'Épernay des Champagnes du Vignoble, etc.).
Maison de Champagne François Brossolette offers today a wide range of exceptional Champagnes obtained through careful vinification and blending. These cuvées are made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, the proportions of which vary from one Champagne to another.
A Champagne house that our experts keep a close eye on for its excellent price/quality ratio!
