GROWER CHAMPAGNE

François Brossolette had been working in the vineyards for over 20 years when he married Sylvie François, the daughter of a winegrower. In 1991, they christened the estate by combining their two names, thus creating the François Brossolette Champagne House. For six generations, the vines of this family estate have been cultivated on the slopes of the Laignese valley, from Riceys to Polisy, forming a vineyard of about 14 hectares.

As a small Champagne producer, François is not only in charge of growing the vines. He also produces his own cuvées from his own grapes in his own cellar. The François Brossolette Champagne House combines the tradition inherited from several generations of winemakers with state-of-the-art equipment. François Brossolette vinifies and gives free rein to his passion for blending to produce unique Champagnes each year that are a perfect expression of the terroir.

CHAMPAGNE REWARDED BY THE MOST PRESTIGIOUS JURIES

Thanks to the excellence of the work carried out, the François-Brossolette Champagne House produces exceptional and authentic cuvées. From the very beginning, the owners of this family business have been passionate about winemaking and have meticulously blended the wines to produce balanced and tasty Champagnes. Each year, the exceptional cuvées of this estate are noticed by the specialised press (Le Guide Hachette des Vins, La Revue du Vin de France, etc.) and rewarded by the most prestigious juries (Concours des grands vins de France de Mâcon, Concours d'Épernay des Champagnes du Vignoble, etc.).

A RANGE OF EXCEPTIONAL CHAMPAGNES

Maison de Champagne François Brossolette offers today a wide range of exceptional Champagnes obtained through careful vinification and blending. These cuvées are made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, the proportions of which vary from one Champagne to another.

  • The cuvées Tradition Brut and Tradition Demi-Sec (22% of Chardonnay and 78% of Pinot Noir) are each made from a blend of 10 wines matured separately and from harvests of different years.
  • The cuvée Dame Nesle (100% Chardonnay) is a complex and rich Champagne with an airy and elegant nose, and a refreshing palate with fine and persistent bubbles. Esprit de Violette is a complex and gourmet Champagne with an airy, elegant nose and a refreshing mouthfeel with fine, persistent bubbles. The Esprit de Violette cuvée (100% Pinot Noir) is a blend of wines from seven vintages obtained from a single parcel in the "Violette" region of Les Riceys.
  • The cuvée Réserve (31% Chardonnay and 69% Pinot Noir) with fruity aromas is a blend of three separately aged wines from different vintages.
  • The cuvée Prestige (50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir) with floral and fruity aromas and delicate, silky bubbles. This Champagne is a blend of wines from different years' harvests from three separate plot vinifications.

A Champagne house that our experts keep a close eye on for its excellent price/quality ratio!
