A high-flying Bandol to discover and enjoy at least once in your life! Splendid!!
The Brulade is the highest peak of the Domaine (400m), swept by the Mistral wind, benefiting from strong sunlight by day, tempered by the sea breeze and the cool nights. This magnificent wine closes on the muscular sap of the Mourvèdre. The aromas of raspberry, pepper and heath arrive after 4 to 5 years in the cellar. The slender finish makes it light and willowy. A very beautiful red to keep in the cellar!

DOMAINE DE LA BEGUDE

It was in 1996 that Guillaume Tari fell in love with the Bandol region and acquired the Domaine de la Bégude. This estate is steeped in history and bears its name well, since beguda is the place where one drinks in Provençal dialect. Guillaume and his wife Soledad have been producing organically certified wine and olive oil since 2006. 23 hectares of vines scattered within 500 hectares of garrigue, like an aerial balcony over the Mediterranean. One of the particularities of the vineyard lies in its location at altitude: On the highest point of the Bandol appellation, at 410 metres, the vines preserve a freshness with significant temperature variations between day and night. In this country where Mourvèdre is king, this grape variety knows how to express the particularities of its terroir: rocky soil, plenty of sunshine, altitude, iodine mistral. The estate produces rosé wines for gastronomy, but also red wines of Provence, which are rarer. Great wines made for ageing.
