A smooth, fresh Chardonnay, with a very full, complex nose of yellow fruit and flowers, a well-defined minerality on the palate and discreet, well-integrated oak. A long, lingering finish. A very pretty wine!
Penfolds is more than a premium Australian estate, it is also a must-see and historic home. Created in 1844 by Christopher Rawson Penfold, this immense reference is above all one of the very first wine structures in the country. Today, its fame is well established and the property has 3000 ha of vines for a yield representing 2.5% of Australian production! A true reference on a global scale!
