Situated at the convergence of three distinct geological ages, Clos Henri has one of the most distinctive soil morphologies in the Marlborough Valley. Paying homage to these unique terroirs and revealing the true nature of these wines is the Bourgeois family's ultimate goal. The new Single Vineyard cuvées tell the story of the simplicity and elegance offered by the confluence of windswept glacial terroirs. Named after the Waimaungan Ice Age, this Pinot Noir is characterised by bold spice and black fruit, a careful balance between terroir and vinification, resulting in a powerful yet supple wine that highlights the layers of wind-blown clay that nurtured its grapes.
