Freshness and minerality in a Pommard ? Good choice! It is very well worked, the tannins silky and fine, keeping a power typical of its terroir of origin!more reviews

A complex cuvée, with fine, elegant aromas and a tannic structure: immerse your lips in the prestige of Burgundy's terroirs...
This 2019 Pommard Les Vignots from Nicolas Rossignol is made from grapes grown on a clay-limestone terroir typical of the appellation. This cuvée is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, giving it exceptional aromatic complexity and tannic structure. On the nose, this wine reveals aromas of ripe red fruit, such as cherry and raspberry, as well as woody and spicy notes brought out by barrel ageing. On the palate, the 2019 Pommard - Les Vignots cuvée is dense, with silky tannins and freshness. The red fruit aromas carry through to the finish, leaving an impression of finesse and length on the palate. Enjoy every sip of this delicious, refined wine!

DOMAINE NICOLAS ROSSIGNOL

Nicolas Rossignol, born in 1974, represents the 5th generation of winegrowers in the terroirs of Volnay. He has been vinifying since 1994 at Domaine ROSSIGNOL-JEANNIARD, thus perpetuating the family tradition. After a complete technical training acquired at the wine school of Beaune, Nicolas puts his knowledge into practice during various internships, at the Domaine JOSEPH VOILLOT in Volnay, at the Domaine LOUIS LATOUR in Ardèche as well as at the Domaine du VIEUX TÉLÉGRAPHE in Châteauneuf-du- Pope. Anxious to master other cultivation and aging techniques, he left to vinify in South Africa at Domaine BOSCHENDAL in 1995 then in Bordeaux at Château LA CARDONNE governed by Château LAFITE ROTHSCHILD. It was not long before he created his own estate in 1997 with an area of 3 hectares spread over the municipalities of Volnay, Pommard, Beaune, Aloxe-Corton and Pernand-Vergelesses. After judicious mergers, notably with the Domaine Rossignol-Jeanniard, the Domaine has an area of 17 hectares and works with more than thirty appellations.
