LEAVE YOUR REVIEWA beautiful dark red colour for those special evenings. The nose reveals aromas of chocolate, dried cocoa and black fruit. On the palate, a sensation of roundness caresses the palate with flavours. Quite full-bodied, powerful and long; a fine balance that makes you want to come back for more.
Review left on CHATEAU LAGREZETTE 2016 - CHATEAU LAGREZETTEChâteau Lagrezette has got us used to producing nothing but good wines, albeit often a little expensive as you move up the range. Perfect with mature meat...
Review left on CHATEAU LAGREZETTE 2016 - CHATEAU LAGREZETTEAn interesting Malbec, very successful for the price. The ageing is well controlled, and everything blends well to create a well-balanced beverage. It's not quite up to the level of an Argentinian pied-franc Malbec from Gualtayari, but it's already very good!
Review left on CHATEAU LAGREZETTE 2016 - CHATEAU LAGREZETTECompared to El Enemigo's Malbec, Lagrezette's is more full-bodied and complex; dark fruits, spices, tobacco/smoke with long-lasting finish. Excellent!
A Malbec typical of the South-West, with body and tannins that go very well with an autumn/winter dish. Black fruit, smoky notes, leather, tobacco and a touch of oak give this Cahors a certain complexity.
A great thoroughbred wine: Cahors are not easy wines to approach, just as Malbec is not an easy vine to cultivate, but the experience of this winery is a guarantee: in the glass is an almost perfect wine, always in balance between softness and hardness, masterful
A lovely dark red colour with hints of violet, and an open nose of black fruit. On the palate, it's subtle and refined, with a hint of oak. In short, a magnificent Cahors with lots of character!
Garnet red with violet hues, primary fruity aromas blended with spicy and woody hints, soft and enveloping despite the firm and slightly astringent tannins, slightly shorter than the 2016 vintage in terms of length
Château Lagrézette is a true reference in the South-West. Owner Alain Dominique Perrin, passionate about beauty and exceptional products, bought the property in the 1980s. The estate covers 90 hectares of vines, of which Malbec, the emblematic Cahors grape, represents the majority. The vineyard is made up of three distinct terroirs which gives a great diversity of cuvées. Since 1988 the estate has been consulted by the famous oenologist Michel Rolland. The estate produces powerful, generous, elegant and refined wines, the quality of which is unanimously recognized in France but also abroad.
