LEAVE YOUR REVIEWCharacterised by delicate aromas of vanilla, mocha and caramel, accompanied by subtle spicy notes. Impressive substance and richness. The Grand Cru is velvety and its elegant tannins give it excellent ageing potential. Very balanced structure with well-integrated tannins.
Pleasant to drink on different occasions. Needs a little more ageing to reach full maturity. I will certainly be drinking it again soon.
An excellent wine, fruity with silky, elegant tannins.
It has all the signature characteristics of the great Saint-Émilion wines.
A real delight with creamy cheeses or meat in sauce!
In my opinion, it should be cellared for a few more years.
Close to the highest point of the appellation, the 25ha of the vineyard extend over the limestone plateau and on the hillsides, not far from the medieval city. Composed mainly of Merlot, the vineyard also includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Carménère. This last variety, rare in Bordeaux, offers a deep colour and confers spicy notes, an asset in the style of the wines of domaine.
