Domaine de la Madone really is a safe bet. This Dacite 2022 confirms it: a fresh, easy-drinking wine for summer. Aperitifs, barbecues, cheese, charcuterie...more reviews

The palate is juicy, it is a highly delicious fruit, an incredibly pleasant grape that is great for sharing!
The clay and granite soil comes from a section of rock in the Forez Mountains that culminates in the primary area at more than 8000 m above sea level! Dacite takes on its freshness and its very fine style, not over-extracted. Its cherry and fresh peony notes and its drinkable frame now make it very accessible. It perfectly reflects the current trend for wines that delight wine lovers on the terrace... A barbecue, an aperitif with terrines and pâté and you are guaranteed pleasure!

Excellent, a pleasant surprise. Very juicy, red colour, notes of flowers and violets on the nose. On the palate, velvety and fresh, perfect for enjoying with family and friends. Fine and elegant.

LES VINS DE LA MADONE

On this young Côtes du Forez appellation which was born in 2000, Gilles Bonnefoy, created the domaine Les Vins de la Madone, in 1997, based in Champdieu, in the south of the Loire Valley. From 2001, he quickly moved towards working the vines in organic farming. Wishing to go even further in a natural and environmentally friendly approach, he began in 2004 an approach to biodynamics leading to Demeter certification in 2009. Today the domaine Les Vins de la Madone covers 11 hectares of vines, mainly located around the Madone volcano, on volcanic and clay-granite soils. Each plot is vinified on its own. The estate is a fascinating discovery, with distinctive wines and new expressions of Gamay that will appeal to all Gamay aficionado!
