A tiny production run for this 100% Grenache gem, which is a magnificent blend of power and delicacy!
The hundred-year-old vines, planted in 1956, benefit from an ideal eastern exposure and sandy-clay soil. Vinification is carried out with precision in truncated cone-shaped vats, with meticulous temperature control and maceration lasting around 30 days to extract all the aromas from the grapes. The result is a gourmet nose and a seductive palate that reveals a lovely sweetness, with subtle notes of chocolate and menthol. This cuvée is produced in limited quantities, with only 3000 bottles available!

CHÂTEAU LA ROQUE

Located in the town of Fontanès, in the heart of the Pic Saint-Loup terroir, the estate covers 32 hectares of vines and benefits from a south/south-east facing terroir, between 125 and 230 meters above sea level, where there is a great interaction between the vegetation, the woods and the vineyards of the estate. The estate team manages the work of the vines and wine on a daily basis, respecting as much as possible the environment and the diversity of grape varieties, 80% of which are black. Thus, since the 2011 harvest, Château la Roque has been certified in organic and biodynamic agricultures, which allows them to make tasty, high-quality wines. "You have to give time, patience and love to the vine to get the best out of it."
