I absolutely loved this wine. It's everything that a traditional Burgundian Chardonnay should be: beautiful honey colour, rich nose, buttery texture, satisfying flavour that lingers and unfolds in your mouth. I really can't fault it in any way.more reviews

Immerse yourself in a superb Burgundy Maison and discover a deliciously fresh and mesmerizing wine!
This beautiful creation by Albert Bichot comes straight from the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise. We find a woody, very long and mineral nectar, which perfectly accompanies your appetizers or fish thanks to its remarkable freshness! This bottle may well be enjoyed now for the impatient, or in 5 to 6 years so that it can reveal all its flavours! A wonderful Premier Cru at a reasonable price!

A lovely, round wine with notes of butter, brioche and vanilla. The mineral and fresh finish brings a nice balance to the whole. A long finish.

Very good wine, round with buttery and vanilla notes. Very well structured. Can be drunk as an aperitif but I recommend it with a fresh cheese platter.

Excellent Chardonnay, everything perfectly balanced, the wood is delicate, the fruit is the protagonist. Nice freshness and excellent structure. A Chardonnay that can stay in the cellar for many years

I enjoyed this white wine with great pleasure, drinking it slightly chilled during the warmer months, but it will also do well during winter festivities, as an aperitif or with a meal. You can still wait a little for it to get even better.

A little-known appellation but still of great quality. Typical varietal nose with aromas of butter, honey, candied yellow apple and an enviable freshness!

Montagny is a very special grape variety and it is rare to find such bottles around. Albert Bichot's is a really good wine, recommended!

Having already tasted this wine from a previous year, I was equally delighted by its buttery texture and aromas. It can be laid down for a few years to improve.

MAISON ALBERT BICHOT

The "Maison Albert Bichot" was founded in 1831 by Bernard Bichot and it was his grandson, Albert, who gave it a new awakening at the end of the 19th century. Since 1996, the management of the Maison has been ensured by the sixth generation in the person of Albéric Bichot. The house has 100 hectares of vines which are exploited in a sustainable way, supplemented by purchases of grapes and musts. The estate has completely transformed its approach to growing vines, by pruning shorter, working the soil (plowing) and green harvesting when necessary, leaving only 6 bunches per vine. The house has an impressive range of Grands Crus and Premiers Crus. Those from the Côte de Nuits are vinified and aged at the Clos Frantin estate. Those of the Côte de Beaune are at the Domaine du Pavillon.
