This entry-level wine is a fine introduction to François Chidaine's superb whites. A fresh, well-balanced Sauvignon Blanc. But it's not easy to find, so thank you Vinatis!
Excellent quality to price ratio for this Sauvignon. Ideal as an aperitif, it will delight your guests with hints of exotic fruit.
Excellent, pale yellow colour, clear, dry white, floral nose, citrus notes on the palate, well-balanced, fleshy fruit, good length on the palate. A wine to recommend, very good with a quiche lorraine.
Monsieur Chidaine has introduced us to a lovely Sauvignon from the Touraine appellation at a moderate price. Mineral and fruity, ideal with seafood or to start an aperitif.
Superb Sauvignon Blanc. Limpid, clear, precise, very pleasant fruitiness with superb minerality. So pleasing, we recommend it as a matter of urgency.
A very pretty, harmonious white wine made from Sauvignon grapes. Beautiful notes of exotic fruit with a very good length on the palate. A very good alternative to other more prestigious appellations in the region.
A talented and truly passionate winegrower, François Chidaine left the family estate to acquire his own vines in 1989, on the land where he was born: Montlouis-sur-Loire. Thanks to its know-how and the success of its wines, the estate now covers 37 hectares: 20 hectares in the Montlouis-sur-Loire appellation, 10 hectares in Vouvray and 7 hectares in Touraine. Listening to nature and its vibrations, François Chidaine chose organic farming in 1992, then biodynamics in 1999 for his Montlouis sur Loire and Vouvray cuvées.
