LEAVE YOUR REVIEWPower and softness go hand in hand in this superb Châteauneuf to give us a very round palate! Ideal with game in its youth, its ageing potential is however at least ten years!
Review left on CHÂTEAUNEUF DU PAPE 2018 - CHÂTEAU MONT-REDONA gourmet wine with lots of fruit, a good Châteauneuf du Pape to be opened 2 hours before drinking as it's still young!
Not bad value for money, I recommend it!

An excellent quality/price ratio for this 2019 Chateneuf, which maintains a beautiful balance between round and strong yet suave on the palate
In 1923, Mont-Redon passed into the hands of Henri Plantin. The new owner set about regrouping the 2.5 hectares of land he had inherited, which were then scattered. As an informed precursor, he did not hesitate to plant vines on the vast, as yet unexploited, stony and wooded plateau that dominates the property. Driven by the same passion for their profession, always in search of qualitative terroirs for the most suitable grape varieties, Henri Plantin's descendants continue this work of investigation and enlarge the estate. For four generations, in the heart of its vineyards through the centuries, our family has been enriching its know-how on a daily basis, while respecting its quality requirements. Today, Château Mont-Redon covers 186 hectares in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, including 100 hectares planted with vines. In 1980, the estate expanded with the purchase of an estate in the Côtes-du-Rhône region, followed in 1997 by another in Lirac.
