Dinner with friends based on meat, this Malbec is an intense ruby red like most French grapes from the New World, intense aromas and a powerful wine with character on the palate. Highly recommended!
On the high Andean plateaus of Mendoza with the snow-capped peaks of the Andes as the only horizon, Bodega Catena Zapata produces one of Argentina's most famous wines. The Malbec grape here is perfectly suited to the arid soils of this region, producing full-bodied, smooth red wines with warm aromas of very ripe fruit, spice and liquorice.
