The great wine of Tuscany and one of the greatest wines in Europe. The creation of the Solaia vineyard is relatively recent. Indeed, the first vintage produced by Antinori was in 1978. A sign of quality, Solaia is produced only in great vintages. A blend of three grape varieties (Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, Cabernet Franc), vineyards on stony and limestone soils, a very generous exposure to create just real gems. We could talk at length of its colour, its aromas, its finish... Note simply that it is a timeless classic with exquisite flavours and designed to keep in the cellar!

The Antinori family has been dedicated to wine production for over six hundred years: since 1385, when Giovanni di Piero Antinori joined the Arte Fiorentina dei Vinattieri. Throughout its long history, through 26 generations, the family has always directly managed this activity with innovative and sometimes courageous choices but always maintaining respect for traditions and the territory. Each vintage, each terroir, each idea is a new beginning, a new search for ever higher quality margins. As the Marquis Piero likes to say: "ancient roots play an important role in our philosophy, but they have never inhibited our spirit of innovation".
