LEAVE YOUR REVIEWExcellent, there is no other word to describe this wine! Lots of fruit, sweet despite everything with character but a certain sweetness!
Review left on MAURY GRENAT 2020 - DOMAINE LAFAGEProbably one of the best wines I have ever tasted! Personally, it goes well with a fig/chocolate dessert... the perfect moment!
One of my favourites in the cellar. Want to surprise? Enjoy this wine with a 3 chocolate cake ❤️ At the end of a meal, this sweet and fruity wine will bring you sweetness, greed and comfort. A wine to always have in your cellar for chocolate desserts.
Excellent Maury as an aperitif or as a desert. To be recommended to those who like well-structured wines with character. I'm thinking of placing a new order.
Vintage after vintage, still one of my favourite Languedoc wines. Perfect with a chocolate dessert, very fruity and round on the palate. And the bottle always makes an impression on the guests.
A magnificent red wine to accompany a chocolate dessert. Perfect for surprising your guests, both in terms of taste and the bottle itself.
A surprising wine with a fruity flavour that goes well with desserts, especially chocolate desserts. We accompanied a black forest cake with this wine and it was delicious. We also buy some as gifts. It keeps very well in the fridge (we finished it in 2 months!).
Excellent - quite dark in the glass and after dried fruit and sultanas on the nose, the wine develops a great sweetness on the palate, is fruity (ripe red berries) and velvety/creamy on the tongue - a delight with chocolatey desserts.
A nose of red fruit, strawberries and raspberries, very ripe; on the palate, it is gourmet, rich, with a lovely intensity of fruit and good balance. I highly recommend it with a chocolate dessert that's not too sweet.
A delicious purchase! Unbeatable quality to price ratio, perfect for a wine and chocolate pairing. An exceptional taste experience. Enjoy in moderation!
Good, dark colour, smells and flavours of dried fruit and black and red fruits, just right sweet on the palate, smooth in the mouth, good with chocolate desserts. worth trying
I did not appreciate it, perhaps I did not understand it.. Beautiful intense ruby red, impenetrable, monothematic nose on grape juice, in the mouth not very dense, not very tannic, the freshness is insufficient to balance the sweetness, of slight complexity the finish, dark chocolate and liquorice
Excellent value for money, a lovely sweetness to match with chocolate and raspberry, a delight!
A very positive discovery. A sweet but not cloying wine from a blend that is unusual for me. Drunk with a stilton, it turned out to be a wonderful combination. And I had to open another bottle....
The Domaine Lafage has been a family estate since 1798 and characterises itself with 3 distinct and emblematic terroirs that best reflect Roussillon's soil diversity which the most renowned names from the area acknowledge and recommend. Jean-Marc Lafage has been the most awarded French independent vintner in the last 10 years at the prestigious Concours General Agricole de Paris, 24 of his wines have been mentioned in the famous Guide Hachette since 2009, even Robert Parker loved them! Discover the wines from this estate, it will be a revelation.
