A Cabernet Franc that is amazing for its finesse and minerality! The 15 month maturation in 6 wine barrels is totally integrated into the wine. The grapes undergo a 21-day maceration without fining or filtration. Only 1 gram per hectolitre of sulphur is added and then bottling is done by gravity. Bravo!
Slightly disappointing quality to price ratio. Not very expressive on opening, fruit and the pyrasine side typical of Cabernet Franc, with a not very persistent finish.
A little disappointed by this wine. Very fine (a little too fine, perhaps?) but lacking the pepper and gourmet side that I love in Cabernet.
