Medium salmon, pronounced intensity, butter, vanilla, red fruit, almond, banana, citrus, flower, rose. Dry, high acidity, low tannin, medium alcohol, medium body. Long finish. Exceptional winemore reviews

This cuvée combines the know-how of several generations with modern winemaking techniques and maturation in new 300 litre barrels.
This is a gastronomic rosé with a deep pink colour and orange hues. The nose is very intense, revealing a complexity of floral aromas, spices, honey and fine woody notes. On the palate, the attack is frank, powerful and complex but preserves the balance of the wine between freshness and aromatic expression. The finish is intense and slightly vanilla. An exceptional wine!

A remarkable Provençal rosé, with greater complexity and good body than the clnterranean rosés, which are often far too delicate for my taste. The label then is a marvel (the eye also wants its share).

A nice surprise!

The colour is interesting, it tastes fruity with citrus / iodine / vanilla.

Tannin and body are very weak, it is a very surprising aperitif wine.

CLOS CIBONNE

On a hillside of the Maures mountain range, between Toulon and Hyères, an old 17th century manor house stands, pitiful and dilapidated, surrounded by fields of vines and overlooking the harbour of Toulon. We are here at the Clos Cibonne whose name perpetuates the patronymic of Jean Baptiste de Cibon, captain of the Royal Navy of Louis XVI and former owner of the estate. On his death in 1797, the property was sold to the ancestors of the Roux family. In the 1930's, André Roux was the one who gave the vineyard all the letters of nobility around the Tibouren grape. Since then, his children and grandchildren have continued the tradition. The authentic Tibouren of Le Pradet will travel the world. Today the site has kept all its authenticity and its ancient history around the Tibouren grape. Tibouren is a very noble and demanding grape variety whose grapes only ripen in the privileged places of the Mediterranean coast, such as the schistose and sunny slopes of Clos Cibonne. In the 24 hectare vineyard on the seaside, the Tibouren grape variety predominates in the production of rosés and gives the Clos Cibonne estate its mark and authenticity. Other grape varieties complete the blends such as Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah.
