LEAVE YOUR REVIEWIt is a decent merlot without any special features. A wine to be served at a party or in bigger quantities. Dark fruit and spices. Pleasing taste, but not remarkable in any way.
Simple and effective wine. Aerate before tasting to enjoy its pleasant fruitiness. An affordable bottle that will make for very convivial improvised meals.
Ripe red fruit aromas emerge from the glass (cherry, wild strawberry) with some spicy touches. On the palate it is a supple wine with very soft tannins. Dare to drink it slightly chilled in summer!
It can be drunk immediately and improves after a couple of hours after opening. Freshness and hints of ripe red fruits enhance it like few at the same price.
Opened yesterday and served with tournedos, mushrooms and small potatoes. I was not enchanted by this bottle, although it was aired for a good two hours and served at the right temperature.
A Merlot that has not yet expressed all its aromas. To be kept for another year, decant well for two hours, notes of black fruits waiting to ripen.
A wine with good character, red-purple with the right balance between acidity and tannins. A little closed on the palate but opens up considerably in the finish. I will definitely order more because it is a really well-made wine!!!
A Côtes de Bordeaux that is not exceptional. For the price, one can find much better. It's not really unpleasant, well-fruited and fleshy, but I expected much more from a medal winner!
